The fall middle school soccer league is on a roll this year! We have more kids than ever and it has been very fun and exiting! Berry Creek and Gypsum Creek Middle School’s are playing great and they have about 40 to 50 players each! In the league, we have a total of seven boys’ and seven girls’ teams, that play a full 11 vs 11 game while still putting a special attention on learning the sport and the fundamentals of the game.
At the end of the season we will conduct a full day tournament. We also are enjoying the participation of the Vail Mountain School and Heidi Trueblood’s team, which is awesome! It gives the kids more teams to play and extends the opportunity for more kids in the community to participate in a fun and challenging local league while still remaining affordable for everyone who wants to play.

Keep up with the great efforts kids! You have all shown tremendous teamwork and great sportsmanship. Last Saturday October 15th was our sixth and final game before the tournament. The final tournament will be held this Saturday, October 22nd from 9 am to 5 pm at Freedom Park (East field next to Miller Ranch). Come on by and show your support for these wonderful children and coaches that have worked so hard this season!
